Our Story

Chelsea & Matt met through work and quickly bonded over the daily dramas of point of sale. Fun! It took almost two years for them to stop just smiling at each other in passing before they spoke over Chelsea’s unachievable design ideas clashing with Matts technical mind. Their friendship soon grew from occasional hello’s and goodbyes into very bad small talk in the kitchen whilst ‘coincidentally’ making tea at the same time for their colleagues.

Eventually love bloomed over many Dobble matches, spontaneous drinks at the pub and Starbucks dates during lunches. Fast forward a few months and they ended up living next door to each other. We all know where this is going and we know what you’re thinking, but really it just consisted of Matt cooking for Chelsea after witnessing her eating tinned hotdogs and downing instant mash and calling it dinner.

Before we knew it, Chelsea had hijacked Matts dreams of going to Japan and they travelled the world for 8 months before returning home. It may have only been four months of them officially dating, but there is no better way to get to fall in love with someone than the chaos of moving to a foreign country and exploring the world. Two years later and here they are unbelievably excited to start the next chapter of their lives.
